In a little over 2 months I will turn the big "40". I think I'm actually happy with where I'm at in my life even though I haven't won the lottery. I would have to play to win. I moved back to the Tampa area in July of 2006. I felt like I was ready for a change in my life and their was an incentive with the move. I began dating Ryk (someone very special to me and who I love a lot). He is always supportive of any new venture in my life. We've been friends for over twenty years. I have a great job working for and Early Learning Coalition in central Florida and in August of this year I enrolled in college to finish my bachelor's degree in early childhood education. There are many days that I leave at 6:30 or 7 in the morning and don't get home until between 9 and 10 at night, but I know in the long run that all my hard work will pay off one day. Some days I feel like throwing in the towel because of the pressures with work or school. Then I remember nothing comes free in life without determination and hard work.
If you're in the education profession and have any words of wisdom to share please feel free to do so.
Gotta close for now I need to finish some assignments for my Tuesday and Wednesday night classes.
